The purpose of this empirical research is to explain and understand how human capital is transformed by human resource development (HRD) and to identify most effective teaching styles for student’s development. Three teaching styles lectures, case study and discussions as they mostly used in business schools of Pakistan were simultaneously compared to check for their effectiveness. The purposive sampling for quantitative research was used to collect data from 250 students of Business and Commerce Department through structured questionnaires. For analysis of the gathered data statistical software SPSS 22.0 was used. The statistical analysis techniques like correlation analysis and regression analysis were used to draw results. The mediation analysis was performed through Baron and Kenny’s technique. The findings revealed that there is a direct relationship between teaching styles and personal development of students. The results also revealed that the Teacher’s conscientiousness significantly mediates between teaching styles and personal development of students. The findings of research suggested that it is a prerequisite for business educators to revise their teaching styles and to create a tradeoff between them.
